Topic: How to test cross-platform voice calls
At Voximplant we do voice and video calls automation. Our cloud can handle calls from traditional phone networks, from our Web SDK’s used on web pages across various browsers and from our mobile SDK’s used with Android and iOS apps. And all these things should be tested: an ability to make and forward call, used codecs, audio quality and so on and so on. During my talk, I will highlight difficulties and challenges of such test cases and how they are handled from our first-hand experience. This includes combinations of different web browsers and mobile devices, checking voice data in real-time, mocking PSTN telephony, manual tests versus automatic tests and much more.
